We’re into December and we wanted to start off strong! Khaleef wants to lose around 4 lbs a week and I’m shooting for 2 lbs.
Let’s see how it went…
Food: How’d We Do?
Khaleef: My eating was very good for the week. There were really nothing major that happened good or bad. We purchased a lot of things from Costco and Shoprite, so we were prepared to eat healthy meals at home all week.
Sherrian: I did a meal prep this week so that was really helpful! I ate fine except I am finishing up the Christmas cookies . I AM eating them in moderation withing my calorie limits, but they are still present.
Exercise: How’d We Do?
Khaleef: I wanted to walk at least 6,500 steps for at least 5 days last week. I wasn’t able to hit that goal this week because it rained for 3 days and I wasn’t able to walk outside as much as normal.
Sherrian: Since this is going up late, my activities as of this point count and SO, I exercised once!!!! Yes! I got on the recumbent bike for 1/2 hour and I was so glad! I really am hoping to keep it up.

Sherrian: I lost 1 lb this week. I was disappointed because I wanted to lose 2, but I am happy that I had a loss. I am hoping with more exercise that I will have bigger losses.
Khaleef here: Last week I weighed 308.8 and this week I was 306.8, which is a 2lb loss for the week. That is more than double what I lost last week, and I plan on making a few more small changes in order to see that number go up even further.
You Want To Lose What?
You read that title correctly. We want to lose 250lbs combined. Once we are both comfortable with sharing our weight, then we will talk about how that goal breaks down between the two of us.
We have now lost 22.8lbs as a couple and have 227.2lbs to go in order to hit our goal.
So now this blog has turned into the story of us losing 250lbs while paying off over $100k of debt at the same time!
Next Week’s Focus:
Sherrian: More exercise for sure and depending on how next week looks, I will re-evaluate my calories.
Fat Guy (Khaleef is boring): I still want to get at least 6,500 steps in at least 5 days. I would also like to get in at least one cardio session so I can figure out what kind of exercises I can do that won’t cause my back to seize up – I just have to take a break from working and make time for this).
