Alright, so here goes our first update :D. We’re still figuring out how to handle this with both of us, so bear with us as we find our groove.
Food: How’d We Do?
Since we’re starting, we have nothing to put for this week. I WILL say, we are both on board and that is going to make things a whole lot easier!
Exercise: How’d We Do?
Again, nothing here yet 😀
You Want To See Our Faces, Don’t You?
Of course you do. We posted a video on our YouTube weight loss channel talking about our weight, getting a new start, and our goals for the upcoming week. Watch the video below or click here if reading via email:
Sherrian: OK, if you saw the YouTube video, you know the deal. I will not be sharing my weight… yet, but I will be tracking the changes from week to week! So today I’m at a big fat ZERO. We should also have a fancy graph up on the site soon!
Khaleef here: I weighed myself on Sunday and the scale read 316.8 (you can check Instagram for a pic of the scale 😉 ). However, since I recently weighed 323.6 and that was the highest weight ever, I’ve decided to reference that number when talking about my weight loss journey. I don’t want to have to keep several “starting” numbers in my head, so I want to reflect how far I’ve come from my highest weight (which was last month, I think).
You Want To Lose What?
You read that title correctly. We want to lose 250lbs combined. Once we are both comfortable with sharing our weight, then we will talk about how that goal breaks down between the two of us.
So now this blog has turned into the story of us losing 250lbs while paying off over $100k of debt at the same time!
Next Week’s Focus:
Sherrian: I am trying to work on getting in more water. For the past couple days I’ve gotten around 100 oz and I am comfortable with that. So I want to keep that up for this week. I also want to see if I can get one weight lifting session in. I haven’t been feeling well this week, so I don’t know if I can.
Fat Guy (Khaleef is boring): I want to get at least 6,500 steps in each day. I originally wanted 7,500, but because of my back injury I am not able to walk too far yet. I would also like to get in at least one cardio session so I can figure out what kind of exercises I can do that won’t cause my back to seize up.
