I told you guys about 2 months ago that I was starting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), because my levels were extremely low and I was suffering from many of the symptoms for pretty much all of 2013. I have been on TRT for the last 2 months and right before I went down south for my family reunion, I took a blood test to see if the treatment is working.
Testosterone Replacement Therapy After 2 Months
A little over a week ago, I went to my doctor for a follow up visit in order to discuss the results of my test. I just posted a video giving a full update on my testosterone replacement therapy, which I have inserted below (you may have to click through to the article or the link to the video if you are reading this via email):
Here is a very general summary in case you are not able to view the video:
- My testosterone levels were so high after 2 months of TRT that the doctor is cutting my dose in half
- Despite the elevated (higher than the maximum acceptable level) testosterone levels, I did not feel any difference physically or mentally leading up to my appointment
- Over the last week I have seen a decrease (but not an elimination) of the fatigue that I normally experience in the afternoon
- I have not noticed any change in the mental symptoms that I have been experiencing
There you have it. I will be sure to give regular updates on my progress in the weeks and months to come.
