Defeat Courteousy of Khaleef and My Faves

Wow, February has ended!  This month flew by so fast, and I don’t think it was because of the amount of days either. I’ve been so busy with writing, potty training, and keeping up with my family.  Below you will find my numbers for the week. It was a great week for me with food, but exercise was lacking. I did buy a new pair of running shoes, which I will be writing about soon.  I got to run one day this week, but that’s about to change since I signed up for a 5K and my first 10K race in April and May.

Last Week:  155.2 lbs

This Week: 153.8 lbs

Loss for the Week: 1.4 lbs

Total Loss:  87.2 lbs

13.8 lbs to lose to my goal of 140 lbs

Awhile back I was in a challenge with Khaleef. I lost and since he lost the highest percentage of weight, I had to commit to burning my Size 18 jeans that Khaleef thought I had no business wearing. I am currently in a size 8,but the 18’s were my very favorite jeans.  Here is Khaleef’s favorite video of mine, since he loves fire and winning!

I had another wonderful week of reading, and here are my faves!!!

Uhh, wow Julie, wow. That’s a huge amount of weight you lost and no small achievement! What you’ve done is really inspiring AND you’re super cool to video your stuff (like your running video)!

Thanks for keeping it real and keep it up. Next stop, size 7 ;)

Thank you so much! I can’t see my size getting much smaller, but I will keep getting healthy! All the encouragement helps me push forward!

Thanks for including my staff post over at My Personal Finance Journey, Julie – glad you enjoyed it. Good luck training for your 5 and 10K….if you ever want to talk running, give me a shout – I’m a runner training for a 10K (April) and Marathon (October)!

Julie Wilson March 4, 2013 at 1:36 pm

No problem! It was great. Thank you for the well wishes for my races. What marathon are you running? Will it be your first one?

Travis @debtchronicles March 4, 2013 at 2:17 pm

I’m running the Twin Cities Marathon….it will be my 5th time running it!

Khaleef "Fat Guy" Crumbley March 6, 2013 at 6:00 pm

Travis, you know we don’t talk about running on this site! :-P

Let’s talk about some weightlifting or at least some intense workouts.

Thank you so much!

Hate to say but Khaleef was right! You have no business wearing a size 18 when you are a size 8-and worked your butt off to get there. Congratulations on all of your hard work!!!

Julie Wilson March 12, 2013 at 10:49 am

Khaleef right? Nooo!! LOL I know, and I threw the other pair of 18s out too. Thank you so much!

TB at BlueCollarWorkman April 15, 2013 at 8:11 am

Hahaha, wait. you were a size 8 and wearing 18 jeans? I don’t understand women’s sizes, but that seems crazy. Good on Khaleef for making you burn them!! :-)

Julie Wilson April 15, 2013 at 9:09 pm

Yeah I know, but Khaleef is now in a size 36 and is wearing 46’s to work…so I think he needs to burn his pants too!
