We lost 0.7 this week. That brings us to slightly over 35lbs lost in total. This was definitely a rough week in terms of time and health (see below) so we were focusing on things not measured by the scale this week.
We ate out a lot because Sherrian felt bad a lot of days, but we didn’t make horrible choices. She was able to make a crock pot soup which helped us out a lot!
On the financial front, we made some big purchases this week (over $1k)! We were trying to hold out for as long as we could before replacing our desktop, but it pretty much died while I was doing our taxes and we had to replace it – when we go live we’ll talk about why waiting helped up.
We also purchased the Fitbit Versa for both of us. We decided not to go with the smart scale because it probably won’t be worth the cost for us – especially since we still have debt.
We had to pay our taxes last week and the amount owed was approximately $1,900!! Fortunately, we set aside some of the money that Sherrian makes freelancing for taxes. Care to guess how much was in that savings account? Yep…$1,900.
Sherrian met her workout goal for the week by walking. Our Fitbit challenges are really helping us to ramp up the activity level. I met my goal of averaging 10,000 steps a day thanks to my competitive nature. Check out the IG story to see some of the wins that I’ve gotten over the last week or so.
Here are my weekly stats from the Fitbit app:
