We only lost a total of 0.5lbs this week as a combination of feeling exhausted and being busy kept us from making weight loss our supreme focus.
Khaleef won two step challenges through the sHealth app (30k & 50k steps), and a “work week” challenge through the Fitbit Community. He averaged about 18,500 steps during the work week (Monday through Friday)!! Sherrian even had a few days where she got over 5,000 steps!
Neither one of us is getting much sleep. It got so bad for us that we overslept for church on Sunday (we were a half hour late to our rehearsal in the morning). We are making our sleep schedule our top priority this week.
We were so busy that we didn’t have time for a few basic errands, like going grocery shopping. We ate a combination of “whatever is left in the freezer” and takeout – we made healthy choices, and used cash for the most part, but it still sucks.
Our busyness included practicing music for a special performance in church (Sherrian sang and Khaleef did sound), preparing for our annual business meeting (presented by Khaleef), walking, working, and a lot of church planning and housework.
We were so busy that the computer that we purchased is still sitting in the box two weeks later. There was a server error that prevented Khaleef from wearing his Versa, but Fitbit fixed it so he is finally able to wear and sync it.

I exceeded my goal last week in steps, active minutes, and days of exercise! The only slacking category was sleep. I averaged over 15k steps and that average was over 19k during the work week.
