We lost another 4lbs this past week. It feels good to finally see lower numbers after increasing our activity the last month or so. I (Khaleef) saw a number on the scale the other day that I haven’t seen in a few years, so we are definitely gaining momentum!
We did eat out twice this week – once was a planned dinner with close friends and we made very healthy choices. The other was a night where we were exhausted and coming home after a long day…we had food at home that we could have eaten, so there’s no excuse.
Sherrian has been having a lot of body pain because she’s been walking more, but isn’t discouraged about exercising! I have been sleeping better because of the increased walking.
Because I have been walking so much and my body is already broken down, it has been taxing and feels like I’m doing real workouts. I need to mix in some rest periods as my body gets back to the place where I can do more strenuous exercise. I’ll be taking it easy this week with the walking and focusing on other things.
Sherrian did do more neck stretches (though not every day), but not body stretches
Khaleef stretched (though not daily) and did his 10,000 steps on Saturday
Goals for this week: Khaleef – Stretch every day and do some kind of non-walking exercise three times this week. Sherrian – Stretch every day
Sherrian colored her hair (watch live to see the color). We saved money on this because one of our best friends is a fabulous stylist (and barber)!
We received anotehr 0% Balance Transfer offer in the mail recently. We’ll talk about how they’ve helped us in the past and what to think about when considering whether to use one.

I had a great week in terms of being active and rebuilding healthy habits! I almost averaged double my #stepsgoal and ended up winning a #stepschallenge through our #fitbitcommunity . I got in 5 days of exercise and I think I hit a new best in terms of active time. .
