Another week of trying to lose 250lbs and pay off over $100k in debt has gone by. How did we do with our health goals?
This week the scale wasn’t kind to us (we gained 1lb), but we began to establish a foundation for future weight loss and overall health.
We are getting in a groove with our eating. We are doing a great job of coming up with healthy snack options and we have a lot of go-to meals that we’ve come up with.
We are getting closer to figuring out a set eating routine that works for us. Sher’s water intake has been consistently around 100 oz per day.
Sherrian’s been faithfully making golden milk for inflammation and we both have taken a closer look at the supplements that we were taking and have made some adjustments.
Sherrian felt horrible this week – possible because of the weather – and didn’t get much sleep. I didn’t get as much sleep as I should have, but I think I got more than in previous months. At least all of this walking is helping me to feel tired as soon as I hit the bed.
I had a huge week with steps, averaging 21,000 during the work week and getting more than 10k on Saturday and Sunday! We’re both failing at daily stretching still, but we’re getting in a few days a week. I had a terrible pain in my foot for a few days after walking. One day I could barely walk around the house but it got better after sleeping and stretching it out. Fortunately, it would always feel better by the time I went for my walk at lunch.
