Well, last week we saw that my trip down south threw off my schedule and caused me to gain a pound. It’s really not a big deal, especially since I was able to workout while away, and we ate “relatively” healthy at the barbecues.
Last week was terrible. I still felt like I had jet lag, and because of various deadlines (and a last-minute teaching assignment) I didn’t get as much sleep as usual. Because there are so many benefits to doing a juice fast, we wanted to go back to doing our modified juice fast; however, a few things came up which made this impossible on most days.
I have become a lot more active on YouTube (I’ve posted 4 or 5 videos this week), Pinterest, and Facebook, so be sure to connect with me there. I plan to post a lot of small updates, health tips that I learn, good articles, and other things that don’t warrant a full blog post, onto those sites. Be sure to leave comments so I know you’re there.
Last week I gained 1 pound, so let’s see if I was able to get that back and lose any more (if you want to see the details for all weeks, just click here)…

Week 0 (First Weigh In) – 287
Week 4– 276.4
Week 8 – 266.6
Week 12 – 258.6
Week 16 – 256.0
Week 20 – 258.0
Week 24 – 253.8
Week 28 – 248.0
Week 29 – 246.6!!!
So, even with all of those things going on that prevented us from doing our modified juice fast or getting enough rest, I lost 1.4 lbs. It’s not a blockbuster number, but I’m happy with it. This brings my 29-week weight loss total to 40.6 lbs, and 45.6 lbs from my all-time high.
