Hey guys! We’re here to talk about weight loss once again. However, things are going to be a little bit different than they have been in the past, so we’ll get right into the changes. We talked about this on our YouTube weight loss channel, so you can simply watch the video posted below (or click here to watch the video if you are reading through email):
Here is a summary in case you don’t have time to watch.
The biggest change is that this is now going to be a duel effort. That’s not to say that Sherrian wasn’t trying to live healthy or be financially responsible, but she was mainly in the background when it came to our online efforts. But now she is going to be front and center on the site and our social media accounts!
We are excited to be doing this together and I know both our weight loss as well as our debt repayment efforts will take off, now that we are both giving 100% of our energy to each facet of this process.
Consistent Updates & Accountability
We are planning to post consistent updates regarding our progress and have even developed a weekly/monthly schedule for these posts. We plan to share our weigh-ins, exercise and fitness goals, meal plans, meal prep, calorie and macro targets, and our struggles with each.
Talking about our struggles is going to be very important to us because we know that these battles don’t have to be fought alone, and we also know that we can motivate others to overcome obstacles by showing them how we do the same.
These updates will not just be about our weight loss and fitness efforts, but they will also include our fight to pay off over $100k in debt. So look for us to be talking about our overall debt, budgeting, and sacrifices that we must make in order to hit our goals.
Using More Social Media
Not only will we post regularly to this blog, but we will also be posting more often to YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. These will mainly contain the updates listed above, but we will post a lot of helpful articles/studies to our Facebook page, so please give us a like there so we can share these nuggets that we find with you.
We will continue to post daily to Instagram with pictures of our meals, steps, and general exercise so that we can stay accountable. We have also been fairly active on Periscope over the last few months and will be posting live broadcasts of meals, workouts, and especially when we are feeling temptation and need your support immediately!
Wondering How You Can Help?
The two main things that we will need from you is support/accountability and promotion.
We need you to watch what we are posting and support/cheer us on when we are doing well, and question/challenge us when we are struggling.
We also need you to share our story with other people who are struggling with their weight/health and finances. It can be so helpful when those of us with similar stories/goals can band together to offer support, encouragement, and information.
