Well, I am sure that you don’t want to hear anymore about our anniversary celebrations! It wasn’t as bad as it seems, it’s that it involved a few days out of two weeks.
Anyway, last week was business as usual, and I think it went great. I was able to get in a lot of quality workouts (including running), and I also ate very well. I didn’t have any days where I went over my goal for calories, carbs, or sodium! As usual, I had over a gallon of water on most days.
This was the toughest week so far since I started intermittent fasting. I had so many cravings outside of my eating period, but I think that is due to not having enough calories, combined with working out so hard. I am still working on getting in enough calories during my eating window, and making sure that my macros are properly balanced.
I had three physical therapy sessions this week, and I still don’t feel any better. However, I have only had 4 sessions so far, so I am going to be patient and give it time to heal. If it doesn’t get better by my next doctor’s appointment, he will do an MRI to make sure it is not something more serious than impingement syndrome.
Even with my bad shoulder, I managed to get through a Tae Bo workout! That was my first time doing it, and it was tough but doable:

Last week I had a loss of 1.6 pounds. Since I was bracing myself for a slight gain, I was happy with that number. This week, I am really hoping for a 4-5 lb loss, so that I can at least come close to hitting my short-term goal (to be at 231 pounds by September 5th and get Fit for FinCon). I lost 7.8 lbs in the last week!! This represents my largest weekly loss ever. I am really excited about this number because I believe that it reflects all of the hard work that I put in, and it is not simply a product of being dehydrated while on the scale.
I now have to lose 3 lbs in 1 day (I am writing this on Tuesday) as part of the Fit for FinCon challenge…it doesn’t look like I will make it.
My 41-week weight loss total is now at 53.0 lbs, and 57.0 lbs from my all-time high.
